Feels Like Walking On Pillows. Turn Any Room Into The Comfiest Spot In The House.
So Soft You Sink In With Every Step.
Still living on hard tiles and flat rugs that give nothing back? That's why we created the Marshie Mat. 35mm of slow-sink foam that makes you feel like you unlocked a new level of comfort.
Roll it out and it's immediately plush and cushy. So fluffy you'll have a hard time getting of it. So comfy you'll fall asleep on it and spend all your time on it afterwards.
It changes the feel of the home entirely. Fair warning: it's addictive, and you'll want more.
Warning: You'll Spend More Time On The Floor Than The Couch.
The Marshie Mat draws the whole family together in one room, because everyone just loves lying on it. Kids will pick the floor over the couch, and even your pet gets jealous that they have to share the Marshie Mat with you.
Your neighbours will buy one after seeing yours.
Any Spill Wipes Right Up. Without Any Trouble.
10 Months In, Marshie Mat Looks Brand New.
Yogurt splatters on it? A baby wipe gets rid of it without a trace. It's easy to clean regardless of what falls on it from your dogs, cats or 6-year-old, and it stays soft and fluffy even through milk spillages.
It doesn't collect pet hair either. You'll rarely notice a hair on it at all.
If something ever won't come off, the Good As New Guarantee replaces your mat free in year one. A photo is enough.
Finally Live Worry Free: Save Toddlers From Falls On The Hard Floor.
100% Baby Approved.
Bumps and bruises are a big worry. This mat puts your mind at ease and lets your baby explore more freely. They take their tumbles without concern, because 35mm of slow-sink foam catches every fall.
It's super soft for crawling and walking, and so much warmer than bare carpet for a six-month-old to roll around on. Certified non-toxic, formamide-free and OEKO-TEX tested.
And you can comfortably lie down on the floor with your kids and play, or just relax.

Not Still Perfect After 12 Months? Then It Is On Us.
Cheap mats have a secret. They look great on day one, then go flat, hard and stained by winter.
So we put our money where our foam is. Twelve months of tummy time, movie nights, muddy paws and dropped dinners. If your Marshie Mat is not still good as new, we replace it free.

Our Marshie Warehouse Team
Your Questions, Answered Honestly.
Will it really be 35mm thick?
Yes. Unroll it, lay it flat, and the foam starts expanding straight away. Most mats reach their full 35mm within a few hours. Give it 24 hours for the full puff.
One customer put it best: “The mat bounced back to its fullness in no time.”
How do I clean it?
Wipe spills with a damp cloth and vacuum it like a normal rug. That's it. Milk, mud and spit-up come right up.
“We have had yogurt splattered on it and a baby wipe got rid of it without a trace.” Ellie B.
No machine washing, no special products.
Is it safe for babies and pets?
Yes. Every Marshie Mat is certified non-toxic. The 35mm foam cushions falls while bubs learn to crawl and walk.
“It's saved my toddler from the hard floor countless times.” Emily H.
Dogs and cats claim it fast, and pet hair vacuums straight off.
Will it slip on floorboards or tiles?
No. The underside is a grippy anti-slip backing that keeps the mat planted on hard floors. No rug pad needed.
Why is it more expensive than a Kmart mat?
Because it is 35mm of high-density, slow-rebound foam, not a thin foam sheet.
One customer tried the cheap one first: “it was cheaper but picked up stains. The Marshie Mat quality is so much better and stains don't sink into it.”
One mat that keeps its softness for years beats replacing a flat one every winter. And it is backed by our 1 Year Good As New Guarantee.
How long does delivery take?
Your order is checked and packed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery then takes 5 to 10 business days across Australia and New Zealand.
Shipping is free, and you get a tracking link the moment it leaves the warehouse.
What if something is wrong with my mat?
You are covered by the 1 Year Good As New Guarantee. If your mat flattens, loses its softness or shows a fault in the first year, we replace it.
Email info@marshiemat.com and a real person answers within 1 to 2 business days.
Which Marshie Mat should I get?
Classic is the everyday all-rounder. Marshie Kids adds the play prints, Cloud is the shaggy one for cosy rooms, and Designer looks like a premium rug.
Most families start with a Classic 2m x 3m in the living room. If you are between sizes, go bigger. The most common feedback we get is “should have ordered the larger one.”
Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 195 reviews.
10/10 from top to bottom. I ordered from WA and unfortunately had the wrong address listed, I emailed the company straight away to correct it and was greeted with a quick helpful response from Carolynne who managed to correct the address and still have the rug shipped the very next day. The delivery was quick and we were so impressed with the quality of this rug, we have received compliments on it from every guest we have had since purchasing. It is so comfy the kids opt for it instead of the couch. I felt like I needed to write a detailed review on this brand because not only was the product great the customer service was over the top too. It really does help shopping with family owned businesses because you get real people helping you and not automated bots. Overall my experience with Marshie Mat was 5 stars and if I had a second lounge I would have already placed another order.
I love my Marshie Mat rug so much! First of all, it arrived incredibly fast, and the price was so affordable compared to other rugs I considered. What impressed me most is how unbelievably soft and comfortable it is. Walking on it feels like walking on pillows, yet it still looks stylish and beautiful in my living room. It truly gives me the best of both worlds: comfort and appearance. I have two Corgis, and one thing I absolutely love is that this rug doesn't seem to collect pet hair. I rarely notice any hair on it at all. It's also very easy to clean. Any spills we've had have wiped right up without any trouble. My dogs love it, my grandbabies love crawling on it, and honestly, I love sitting and walking on it too. This rug has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's soft, beautiful, easy to clean, pet-friendly, and perfect for families. Nothing but five stars for Marshie Mat and this amazing rug!
Ordering the Marshie Mat was an impulse buy. I am so glad I did though. The moment I laid it out in our living room our doggos started rolling around, you could see the joy on there little faces. I couldn't resist playtime on the floor with them, we had so much fun. The three of us were so relaxed that we eventually fell asleep, Bliss! It is seriously comfortable. Kenny and Joey love to take food out of there bowls and put it on the mat to eat... Well you can imagine the mess they make. But I don't mind as they are happy and the Marshie Mat is super durable, it cleans up easy with a damp cloth and a vacuum. What more could we want, besides chicken chews for them and chocolate for mummy... 🥰
Learned about Marshie Mat approximately about 2+ years ago, we used to babysit a lot for a friend and they had a Marshie Mat in which was very comfy to the point that when the baby sleeps we fall asleep as well. Throughout all my friends and family experiencing parenthood, Marshie Mat was a companion piece in their household, so it was a no brainer to purchase one once we had our own bub. Love their customer service particularly Carolynne! We had a mishap initially with the colour, then with the sizing, I am attributing it to being first time parents and having sleepless nights. They had been very patient and helpful and kept sending follow up emails and even called us to remind us that we need to collect it in the service depot (we missed the final delivery). Product has been proven and tested through the years for the bubs me and my husband babysit. My husband would prefer to be on the Marshie Mat than our friend's sofa when we visit/babysit. It is safe for bubs to play on, very comfortable to lie on/play on, and very easy to clean especially spills which is a normal occurence when caring for infants. Definite recommendation! And thank you once again Carolynne for your immense patience and understanding. You are a legend!
I ordered the stunning charcoal geometric mat and WOW 😮 what a stunning designed mat it is! The mat not only looks fantastic and is super soft but the service and customer support I received from Marshie Mat was amazing!!! Definitely a great Company 😊
I was hesitant to purchase from a social media ad but I couldn't be happier that I did. It looked perfect right out of the package, required only to be set up in our space (I read other reviews that had concerns - we had none of that!). My whole family is obsessed with it. It's in my kids' room and my 10 year old said it's his favorite thing in the apt now! My three kids had a slumber party on the floor last night so they could snuggle on it - can't make this up. It's soft and pretty and just the right amount of squish. Before receiving the mat, I had reached out to customer service with a concern. And when I got a quick response from a person, I felt even more reassured - and my concern was taken seriously and addressed right away (and ended up not being an issue). Very happy with our Marshie Mat!
I had seen the Marshie Mat brand for sometime and I actually firstly ordered the Kmart one - it was cheaper but picked up stains and then I decided to upgrade and try the Marshie Mat one when they had a Christmas sale. I am so happy I did because the quality is so much better and stains don't sink into it (we have had yogurt splattered on it and a baby wipe got rid of it without a trace where the Kmart one did mark still.) We had a slight issue and Carolynne from customer support worked with me to get it fixed immediately. I highly recommend them and I will buy again - especially knowing customer service is very pro-active!! It makes a huge difference when choosing a brand. Thank you. Keen to explore your other products.
I bought a deluxe shaggy Marshie Mat and it's certainly money well spent. The company was great to deal with and even sent a follow-up email asking if I was happy with it. It's so comfy I even lay on the floor now with the pets and instantly find myself relaxing. It was so good I bought my daughter one too.
The Marshie Mat we purchased is just awesome, it is everything they say it is - soft and fluffy you could just sleep on it... our friends came to visit and they just loved it, they would run there fingers and toes through it and lay down and be star angels so we called them Marshie Mat angels haha... they wanted to know where to purchase from.. The service and delivery was quick and prompt, communication was great.. We will be ordering another one for another room thank you 😊👍
We adore our shaggy Marshie Mat and Fluffy Blanket for our little ones bed. The mat in particular has shifted the hangout dynamic in our family and we love having our teens join us on the floor! Carolynne was amazing to deal with and super helpful and responsive when I had questions. We are already trying to choose our next mat.
We absolutely LOVE our Marshie Mat. It's perfect in our living room for our baby to play on and comfortable for us to be on the ground with him. It's so soft and appears very well made. We're looking to buy another one for our office. Communication was great with the company and it shipped more quickly than expected.
Omg! Best experience with Marshie Mat. I originally bought their 2m x 3m for my new baby that was coming. We love it so much it's the comfiest thing ever and my baby will only lay on the mat. We had a little fray and they without question replaced it for me! Audrey was so helpful! Go buy you a Marshie Mat! You won't regret it.
My experience goes back a few years ago when I discovered Marshie Mat at my daughter's home where she had just received her second child. I learned that this mat was incredibly helpful for keeping young children safe from falling. I fell in love with it when I noticed that my nephew bought one for their home as I genuinely thought it was only for children but no. It brings style, safety and a loving comfort to the room. It draws my family together in one room because they just love lying on it. I've had visitors asking me for details on how they can get their hands on this product and Marshie Mat is just the perfect answer to give. I am looking forward to purchasing other Marshie Mat product that will help me be as comfortable at a very affordable price. Thank you Marshie Mat. Nixon
I looked at hundreds of area rugs but I couldn't find one that was soft with the right texture until Marshie Mat. I opted for the designer grey and couldn't be happier. It's so soft under my feet, is made well, and I love that it's easy to clean. The price was fantastic and it came very quickly.
Ordered the textured beige Marshie Mat and it came within 2 days! It is so soft and so comfortable & feels luxurious without the hefty price tag. 2 weeks after we purchased Carolynne sent a follow up email to check we had received the Mat. Would 100% recommend to all family and friends.
When I say these Marshie Mats are 10/10 I mean they are 10/10.... myself and my family are so so happy with our purchase but not only that the customer service. So my partner ordered the soft touch foam Marshie Mat; we were so excited as it was mainly gonna be used for our twin girls for tummy time but we noticed that we didnt receive an update on our order. I managed to reach out and get into contact with the team and when I tell you how efficient and outstanding the customer service from Carolynne; she was so helpful, kind and herself and the team were very apologetic in regards to our order. She even notified us that the item was out of stock and if we wanted to go with a mat that was in stock. We decided if it was okay with them, if we get one that's in stock. When I tell you we were honestly shocked because the mat we recieved was 100% out of this world and we werent expecting it at all. We are truly in love with it and so are my girls. Thank you Marshie Mat team and especially Carolynne; you are a special asset to their team and a true gem!
Just buy one now. Don't even second guess it. I have the 2m x 3m shaggy Marshie Mat and all my friends want to come over to sit on the floor with me. It looks amazing and is the most comfy thing in my place! My dog loves it, too!
Thank you, Carolynne for your great customer support. We absolutely love our Marshie Mat!! There is no need for a couch anymore, we just love laying on the mat with our pillows & blanket watching tv! I highly recommend!
We love our Marshie Mat! Our kids love it as well. It's soft, durable & looks amazing in our living room. Not to mention, the customer service was 10/10. We will be recommending Marshie Mat to our friends & family!
Couldn't be happier with my Rugs and Pillows. Came across the designer rug visiting a friend and couldn't get over the softness and comfort and on top of that the price! It is commented on every time someone comes over and walks on it. Loved the large one so much I had to get one for under my work desk and the wheels move quite easy. I can now stand whilst working in comfort! Huge thanks to Carolynne from Marshie Mat for all your help!
Excellent customer service and the Marshie Mat is a game changer for a toddler. I purchased 4 of them over the past few months. Would highly recommend!
Absolutely love my MATS i now have 2, perfect for my wee grandaughter, i know she is 100% safe from hurting herself from a fall in my lounge, the quality is superb and the customer service is fantastic, highly recommend Marshie Mats (also have the Fluffy Blanket and i have no words to describe the comfort)
I discovered Marshie Mat on social media. We have a young baby and was looking out for a rug option which was safe and comfortable for the family. Decided to give it a go with a large mat for the living area, a smaller one for the nursery and their big floor cushion looked interesting so threw that in too. Very happy with everything, my baby who has recently started crawling rolls around very happily with no painful incidents and I love rolling with her on the floor cushion. Shipping was fast and surprisingly affordable. Always looking out to support an Australian family business too! I can highly recommended :)
Great customer support, thought I had made a mistake on my order but a lovely lady Carolynn followed through it right up till I received my awesome Marshie Mat, very happy customer and grandchildren Thank you.
Absolutely Love Our New Designer Marshie Mat. Good Value and Pretty Stylish. It's comfy to Lie Down on. Not as thick as I thought it would be, but still awesome. Our Staffys think its pretty comfy. I wish I could get a Hallway Runner To Match.
My deluxe Shaggy Marshie Mat is to die for. Smooth, beautiful and very very soft. My family and I love it, thank you Marshie Mat and especially Carolynne for your kind support, you went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. Thank you 💕
I had purchased a Marshie Mat a few months ago and noticed it was losing its fluff in one spot only - I contacted them and Carolynne was most helpful and speedy with her responses - they sent me a new replacement mat within a week - I am so impressed with their product and customer service (Carolynne was fantastic to deal with). Highly recommend - LOVE LOVE LOVE my mat.
Love love love this rug! Easy to clean and easy to pick up and move it when I want to mop. Really holds up to all the chaos we have at home. Great communication if your order is on back order. I highly recommend thanks Marshie Mat!!
We cannot love our Marshie Mats more! We have them in our basement with concrete floor and it's the perfect addition for our little one to play on. We recently added the big floor cushion and I don't know who enjoys it more, us or our 1 year old! Everything is shipped quickly and the company has great customer service. Happy to support and purchase from Marshie Mat!
Marshie Mat that I bought 3 years ago, and it's still in great condition. My cats love sleeping on it, and now my baby enjoys playing and relaxing on it too. It's become a favourite spot in our home and has brought so much comfort to our little family.
We've had a Marshie Mat in our home for years now! It's honestly such a big part of what makes our living room liveable. This mat is more than just comfort, it's added safety, durability, and stain fighting assistance. With cats, a dog, a newborn, and teenagers - we've had a full house with lots of foot-traffic. After a couple years, I felt it was time for a replacement, even though our rug still had lots of love to give. There was a small issue with my order that was quickly and politely fixed.
We love our Marshie Mat. The best purchase for a new family, especially for our baby - and us as well! I was needing assistance and Ana which was one of the team replied to my email promptly and assisted me very quickly and efficiently. Over all experience with the product and the team is 10/10! Would highly recommend! And would definitely buy me more of their products in the future.
We got our first Marshie Mat as a Christmas gift after doing a bunch of research on non toxic mats that would be suitable for our son's play area. We loved the first so much that I purchased a second one today. I clicked to finalize my order via Shopify and realized I still had a relative's address in the shipping address field. (A holdover from the holidays). Within minutes of emailing the info@marshiemat email address, a reply from a real live person (Leah) came through saying they'd taken care of the mixup. Amazing product and customer service!
I am extremely impressed with both the quality of the product and customer service from Marshie Mat. I am not one to typically leave reviews, but my experience with this company demands one. They went above and beyond to remedy an issue with my mat (that wasn't their fault). The only thing faster than their customer service response time is their shipping time! I have and will continue to recommend this product to my friends and family.
I wish there were 50 stars - Marshie Mat is a fantastic product. We ordered one mat to test it out, and the cozy feeling underfoot is unmatched. We loved it so much, we just ordered another. I can't say enough positives about the product and the company. A+++++++
We recently purchased a Marshie Mat and absolutely love it, so we ended up purchasing another one several days later. We had some delivery issues (at no fault of Marshie Mat) and the fast and responsive communication from Carolynne was a testament to the great service they deliver. Would highly recommend this product!
I came across Marshie Mat while scrolling social media, and two weeks later my rug arrived — I was not disappointed. The rug was exactly as described online and packaged very well (vacuum sealed). Within about 30 minutes of opening, it had fully expanded and looked fantastic. It's a quality rug and really ties the room together. The customer service I received from Carolynne was second to none. When I placed my order it was on pre-order, and Carolynne kept me updated throughout the entire delivery process with multiple emails, which I really appreciated. She even followed up a couple of hours after delivery to confirm it had arrived safely.
Had a great experience ordering from Marshie Mat, shipping was fast and customer service was awesome. Special shoutout to Carolynne who helped me through a small hiccup through no fault of Marshie Mat themselves. Great quality, super happy with my mat :)
We purchased the Marshie Mat and it was delivered within the week. After unboxing the mat it seemed thin and wrinkled from shipping so I reached out to customer service and received helpful instructions on how to help it expand fully. I was surprised on how well that worked and we are very pleased with our purchase. It surpassed our expectations and will definitely be buying more for other rooms!
